How's the filter itself? I actually 'washed' my tacoma cabin filters. I could get about 2 washings out of them before they started to get wilted and I'd have to buy a new one. Always on the lookout for an AFE or some 'washable' cabin filter.

Interesting....just found this: Hmmm....wonder if anyone has one yet?
K&N VF2040 Cabin Air Filter, Replacement Filters
Just purchased one and shall be installing this weekend. Hopefully it will beat buying one all the time. Since its washable you won't have to let it go as long to change and it is a relatively easy in and out.

At least they're filled all the way around and probably still reasonably balanced! When I get a lump of snow stuck in the backside of the wheel I get about 5 miles down the road and the car starts shaking like it's going to come apart.

It's just a basic paper filter, I wouldn't try to wash it. I buy the factory replacements on Amazon for $15, although that K&N looks like a good deal if you don't mind a little extra work.

@wildwest450 @Baybilly @Janster I'm not sure if you are aware but there was some reported problems with a whistling sound inside the cab on the Twins, it was tracked down to the cabin filter door not seated properly. So if/when you change your's pay attention to make sure it goes back together properly.

Here is a link that talks about it. Whistle

Awesome! Did you buy it from K&N directly?
I found them on Amazon but have read some of the reviews... that some (?) shipped thru Amazon are counterfeit filters from china.

Let me know what you think. I might have to get one!!

I was trying to find if AFE had a cabin filter, as I already have the cleaning solution!
