Painted my tow hooks on the bottom of the front bumper red, got rid of the dealership advertising sticker on the back and the associated goo. Red hooks go with the z71 trim and the white paint

NICE! That is very similar to what I am wanting to do. 6" lift, 33" tires, the front LED lights. I am envious of your painted mirrors, I can't find painted mirrors for the life of me.

How does the RC lift handle/drive? They use the factory front struts with extensions and replace the rear shocks right?

Pretty sure the Z71 comes with painted mirrors, the LT mirrors being chrome. I'm sure you could order them from the dealership, but probably cheaper to have a body shop paint yours to match.

It rides nice it's a little bit harsher just because going from standard load to E load but for the most part pretty smooth. Handles nice too you can't whip it into corners like a corvette but it handles no worse than any normal full size SUV or truck. The front shocks are still in place I believe and the rear shocks are replaced.

Does this mean you made the step to a bigger truck?

Mounted some LED's to factory bolt holes on the rear bumper so I can have more visibility at night when backing up. Still not sure if I want to cut into my back bumper, or if there is even enough room to make it work.

You can order the mirror covers separately.
Right side 23191151
Left side 23191153
It would run about $80 for painting at a reputable body shop. You could probably install them yourself.

How much would that set me back if I were to buy the same?

You 'needed' a diff drop? or just wanted insurance?

The lift doesn't even look like it needed it. What's your setup? thanks.

I know a guy locally that put a 3.0 lift on the front and fucked his cv's up... He needs his outboard joints replaced and only has about 600 miles on his truck... Boots tore first, grease leaked out, joint ran dry since... Now they are squealing and he's worried they're gonna seize
