Noticed something on the 2017

Just noticed something going into the Chevy dealer about the 2017's. I noticed on the doors now the Z71's have a Z71 off road emblem on the door, mine has Colorado, on the the tail, it has one that says Colorado V6, mine just has Colorado.

Just the Midnight edition has this. My 17 Z71 has the regular Colorado lettering. But yes, they added the V6 to the tail on all.

This one, midnight edition has the wheels and black badges as mine, but mine is Trail Boss.

My regular Z71 has Colorado lettering on the doors, and the V6 sticker on the back.

Yes only the Midnight edition has the door emblem. I drove two of them and they both had it. All other Z71 models are decals on the bed.

The V6 was added to the Colorado and most Canyon models.

My Denali lacks the V6 emblem but the SLT and SLE models all have it as long as the engine is in the truck.

I agree. I'll be removing all my emblems, including the Colorado lettering. (except Z71 stickers on the bed) when I do a full detail here soon.

Unless you got the All Terrain SLE model. The All Terrain does not have the V6 added to the tail gate.

Thanks for the info.

gmpartshouse1 (ebay) has them for $50. OEM part.

MY '17 2wd Z71 just had the "C O L O R A D O" on the doors. I was planning on debadging that so I ordered the above. They look much better than the lettering, in my opinion. They will look great on my black truck.

Oh... I did remove the decals on the side of the bed.

I did mine, sort of.
Without any emblem after having removed both of the "COL...". The truck looked too plain for me.
Then I decided to put on the small z71 half black half chrome emblems on both side on the lower left of the driver door.
I like it so far.
I'm still debating whether to replace all door handles with the oem chrome ones. Open to all debate?

2016 Black Colorado Z71. Husky floor liner. 20% tinted. Debadged stock emblems, LEDs mostly everywhere.

My 4x4 Z71 Duramax just has the chrome "COLORADO" badge on the door, and the Z71 emblems on the back that say "OFF ROAD". I kind of like the Z71 emblem for the doors but for now I'll hold off.

My 17 Midnight has Z71 emblems on doors and the Z71 stickers on the bed, thinking about removing the stickers. It doesn't need both. ???? It has the Colorado & V6 emblems on tailgate but the V6 isn't quite straight to my eye and I notice it every time I see it.... so it needs to go also.

I think that's the wierd font thing. I get that illusion too, but a straight edge says otherwise.

2wd Z71's just say "Z71"

4wd Z71's say "Z71" with "Off Road" on the bottom tail of the Z.

This is why 2wd and 4wd have different part numbers. This applies to the stickers on the bedside and these door emblems.
