Here's mine. Just got her on Monday, couldn't be happier!

Plan on ordering black assist steps and tonneau cover soon.

Future plans are:
body color grille
Colorado lettering blacked out.

Always finding ways or find myself taking pics of this truck lol. I was on the fence between Silver and Red Hot. Although Silver was my first choice, I just couldn't say no to this Red Hot Color. Definitely pops and you certainly can't blend in or sneak around anywhere with this color lol. Pics from today....by the way my tag is missing bc I sent in for a personalized tag so yes there is a big hole there haha!!

Nice truck! Is that black bow tie an optional order item or part of the Trail Boss configuration for that truck?

It is an order option or you can paint it. If you build a Colorado on Chevy.com, you can order a black bow tie option for around $100 dollars for front and tailgate.

Thanks JBT. I'll check the options again or discuss with the dealer when the time comes to order.

The bow tie was an option that was built in. My dealer actually had to locate my Colorado for me in another state. It is loaded out but the only option that I would have chose differently would have been to upgrade to the 18 inch wheels in the satin finish. I am not a fan of the 17 inch wheels that came on the truck, especially now since I had the dealer throw me in a 2 inch leveling kit and swapped my tires to a larger all terrain 265/70/17. Love the way the truck looks and sits up higher now but it definitely needs at least 18 inch rims so the larger tires do not eat up so much of the rim as it does now. Rims are expensive!!! lol

Enjoying the ride of my life!

The way I look at is, the Chevy ones are a solid plastic grained look (like the Silverados) that will last forever. You probably wasted more than one hundred dollars of your time painting something that will look like crap in a year or two. Especially if you drive on highways. Time is money. Then you have to paint them over and over. Not for me.

Trust me, your truck looks fantastic, just the way it is right now. Bigger rims would not look better. I can't wait to get mine and show you some photos. Red Hot, Colorado Z71, Extended Cab with Chrome side Bars. I'm just waiting......................!

When am I getting it? That is a good question. Ordered 7/7. When I get it, I'll be posting photos here.

I ordered the truck with the Chrome handles, I had them on my last card..and love them. I ended up going back dealership to add the chrome mirror covers.

When yours comes in..you can get your dealership to order and put on, or I'm sure they sale them online I'm just not sure where

I saw them as an option and my salesman talked to the shop and they said they would have to remove my door panels to install them. I didn't feel like having my doors taken apart at the dealership on a brand new truck, so I thought I would order them after my truck is delivered. I didn't understand how Chevy could sell me this dealer installed option for only $90.00 if they had to do all this work to install them. It states at the website that these replace your current handle. So I figured they weren't just plastic covers. Is that true?

I find that very hard to believe that it takes that much work. I had a 08 Malibu that I ordered Chrome handles for online and it took me like less than 10 minutes to do all 4 doors..and I'm far from being handy.

The dealership actually puts on the accessories. They put on the chrome handles, mirror covers, chrome step, and chrome tailgate handle.

I've attached a picture of the factory red handles that they give back to you, It seems like an easy task, and the chrome handles aren't covers..they are legit and I think look great and would recommend absolutely.

When I pull on the handle of the Colorado's door on the dealership lot, I can see a screw, I presume this is how you put them on? How did you do it on the Malibu.. I will order them when I get my truck. I already ordered the truck on 7/7 and Chevy pulled the order on 7/15 so I'll just let them built it and put the handles on myself. Thanks again.

They sell them right on the Chevy website in the accessories section. Along with the chrome mirror covers that I want. Thanks again for your help. I knew that the salesman was full of crap. Oh well, I'll put them on myself.
