I am wondering if this is dealer/region-specific? When I was getting in contact with mine, they said the '15 orders were closed out and had to wait until May to order a '16. I have placed my order and waiting for the build sheet which I should get this week. I will confirm then.

Just my .02.

Might be area or dealer specific. Talked to my dealer a couple of days ago and they were still getting allocations for the 2015 here in the Atlanta area.

Still no sunroof for 2016, although there may be some hope based on this thread.

I stand corrected chevy954. I just got my build sheet and it is in fact a 2015. Works out for me anyways because the 16 may not have been delivered in time.

Whats your order status if you dont mind me asking. Maybe you can put in a 2016 order but it wont get build until all 2015 gets build. I'm just thinking out loud.

It just says "order placed". My dealer says they can still modify it until it's accepted. Doesn't seem the system is accepting 2016 orders as of yet.

I was wanting the diesel but decided to just get a gasser as I was sick of waiting on information.

My dealer is still trying to get info on ordering the diesel and will modify my order or place a new order if they are able to find out something. They are pretty dead set on getting me into an oil burner if possible. Hopefully the dealer principle finds out something at the upcoming dealer meeting.

Keyless start

Z71 without a sliding rear window
Changes to Ext cab rear seat area to give more floor space (flip up seats? Like my 2005).
Garage door opener (Homelink)
trailer hitch without G80 (my 2005 has trailering without it!)
Xenon headlights/led on rear lights.
More opt-out options on onstar/wifi junk I don't want.
Let me add a couple:

Projection Fogs
Heated Mirrors
Auto 4x4

Hi Folks. I guess this is my first post here, although I was lurking for a while. I'm pretty set on my next vehicle, Colorado 4X4 Crew. I probably have to order it. I have a question and figured I won't open a new topic for it.

- When do you negotiate price and set-up financing? When ordering the vehicle or when the vehicle arrives? Could someone educate me please!

I'm not sure if this matters, but I live in Canada.

Cheers.

When ordering. Usually a set amount under msrp.

Current: 2009 Canyon CC I5. 170K miles. Best vehicle I've ever owned.

Probably get more advice by starting a new thread instead of trying to hijack this one.

@Suns_PSD thank you. So I basically lock-in the price and financing during the order. Thank you. @Gilly - I was under the impression that this thread is about "2016 orders"... Therefore, I dared to ask a technical question about ordering a 2016 vehicle. Of course I can open a separate thread. I will title it "Model year 2016 order question" to distinguish it from this one

But wait, maybe not. However, the anticipated MSRP will scare off the most determined buyer. Rumor, and it's just that, a rumor, is that the MSRP on the new ZR2, will come in at $62,995.00. Yikes!! Also, I'm not sure why GM would need to file a trademark application on the term ZR2 because they made them up until year model 2004. Maybe they never had it TM'd to begin with. We'll see said the blind man that couldn't talk...........
2016 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2

News on the 2016 ZR2 as of 05.24.2015.............7:35PM EST

The ZR2 is believed to be an upcoming off-road-focused variant of the Chevy Colorado midsize pickup truck.
Details are scarce at this point, but it is worth noting that General Motors has filed a trademark application with the United States Patent and Trademark Office for the term ZR2 back in August of 2012.
Stay tuned to this page (see below) as we learn more about the 2016 Colorado ZR2.

2003 was the last year of the ZR2 (I had one and rolled it on to it's side in 2005 which led to my Colorado). IIRC 2003 was last year of S10 regular cab and extended cab (which killed the ZR2), the S10 crew cab survived one more year.

Mmmm, no it's about the 2016 Order GUIDE which was found online, and sort of morphed in to a 2016 wishlist thread. I would start another thread and title it something like "Sequence of events when ordering a new vehicle"
