Dude those are super helpful to see angles and things you just can get perspective on once assembled.

Thank you

wow, what a rare opportunity. I definitely didn't expect there to be so many photos, when I read the thread title I imagined that your buddy snapped 2 or 3 pics from afar - pretty cool!

It is really cool. And really cool if you get to work in a body on frame plant like that. Although, it is tougher work than most would realize. Many of the jobs are both repetitive and demanding.

I have the utmost respect for those folks who put our trucks together.

Wonder if the OP saw mine being built yet too? It is the same color, but only an LT.

Thanks, didn't have time to look at all of them. I was expecting some grainy far off shots. I want to study the pics at a later time, great way to understand the trucks and how to work on them. Guess I am a pretty visual sort of guy.

Thanks.. . Yup, I have "met" Becky before over on Camaro when I had my 2010 Colorado on order. Very pleasant and helpful. Linton on GM Inside News also will do tracking for folks.

Thanks for the pics! Reminds me of my time on the Full Size line days.

Yea, I know Wentzville is working hard and full bore on 3 shifts and they also had some delays with the Mexican gas crisis and parts from there and then they cancelled some shifts due to the ice storms I think on Jan 17th? There was even delay for the dealer to get my order into the GM system. I ordered 1-5-2017 and the order did not go to 2000 until last week. Still waiting for TPW. . . "tentative Feb 13th"?
Fun stuff. ... .

Let me know if you need any specific photos or angles. My friend is a real "car guy" that works on his own vehicles so I'm sure he understands when you just want to to know what something looks like and you can get to it.
