My wife and I learned several years ago that using an auto broker is the way to go when purchasing. The one we use will search nationwide to find exactly what you are wanting. You pay a fee for their service of course, but it's totally worth it in my opinion. My last two purchases they actually brought the vehicle to my workplace so I could test drive it during lunch. They arranged the best financing deal, and they put my trade-ins out to bid to dealers in the area to insure we got the most money for them. And to top it all off, you never have to make contact with the dealer or the salesmen yourself. Wouldn't buy a car any other way.

Hopefully this week I'll be ordering my truck. Apparently down here in south florida there are no colorados with leather interior. Basically I'm ordering a lt, crew cab, long box, 2wd, black leather interior, bose, nav, luxury and convenience packages, towing, spray in liner, and 18" dark argent wheels, laser blue. I went to one dealer and test drove a z71 crew long box. Did not like the cloth interior. Asked about ordering a truck. They basically scared me off by saying I had to leave a deposit of around 5grand. They basically would not even price it out for me. Found a dealer that would work with me.
