Midnight Edition Colorado

I am new to the forums(noob) and I am currently in the market for a new truck as I never owned a pick up before and I heard once you have one you will never go back. I have some questions maybe I can get some help and opinions. I am immediately fell in love with the 2017 midnight edition Colorado. My questions does anyone have one? the dealer wants 43k and is telling me this is cost . Lastly If I get the truck I need/have to have the roll bars that came on the 2015 trial boss. problem is I do not see it on the Chevy's accessories list to add when I buy, here is a pic. If I can not get it from dealer where can I get these bars?

I have one a 2016 midnight z-71 with rollbar. The sticker was 43k with everything but I paid less because my dad works for GM. However, my price wasn't much lower than 43k

Cool, did you have to order the roll bar from dealer?

Check with the dealer. My dealer's parts person told me her book has more in it than printed book they give to customers.

Look under the 2016, it will be the same. The part number is 23325905.

Also, it is cheaper from this site if the shipping doesn't kill it http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/oe-gm/23325905

I also seen a Colorado z71 midnight on a dealer lot and fell in love with it, until I saw the price. I thought I found a idea on how to make this truck cheeper to me.
I recently posted this but somewhere else but I cant get a answer.
On a Z71 midnight edition, Do you get to keep the wheels and tires the truck originally comes with?(17"non z71 midnight rims and goodyear adventure tires) Also along with the gun metal z71 grill???

This is a major question I am trying to find out because I'm looking to purchase one and I found the package a little pricy. (4 thousand dollars I do believe) And thought id sell the original wheels and tires and grill to cut back the cost.

This package gets 17" gloss black wheels and duratrac tires. I was wondering if any one had this switched to the 18" gloss back wheels?? I likes the look/style of those better...

The way I read it, the lights are a separate accessory. Part number 23415422. They are an additional $995 from Chevy or cheaper here:
Roof Lights, Off-Road Sport Bar | Genuine GM | 23415422 : GM Parts Direct: Your direct source for Genuine GM Parts

I thought there was an integrated brake light previously, but I may be mistaken.

I have a noob question is the Midnight edition lower to the ground than the reg Z71?
Just seen this one one driving home is this a midnight edition or is this a regular Z71 with new rims and some accessories?

Yep, midnight has large z71 emblems on the doors, Gloss black grill, no fender flares. My sticker was over $41k and I think we got just over $5k off with the GM discount.

If it is listed as part of the package, they usually won't let you delete it.

I just purchased 2016 GMC Nightfall Edition for well under sticker price. I would call around to the dealerships and hunt down a 2016 if you want to save cash.

The Midnight and Nightfall are not twins with regards to packaging are they. I though the Midnight addition came with Black Rims, does the Nightfall??

so to clear up any questions to the midnight edition. I was going to get one but non were in the country as it was winding down for the 2016 year. I did get a Cyber grey z71 instead. but anyways:

A Midnight edition is the following
*a stock black Z71 with z71 wheels and Goodyear Adventure AT 255/65/17
*added Midnight edtion Z71 emblems on the doors, Colorado taken off
*black wheels with 265/65/17 Goodyear duratrac tires
*all weather floor mats
*spray in bedlinner
*black bowties
All of the extras is what come up with the added $4k price due to added tires and wheels and accessories.

and yes you keep the stock tires and wheels due to you pay for the added ones

unless i missed something thats the midnight edition that the dealer puts on.

Colorado Special Editions: Shoreline, Midnight | Chevrolet
