Not the first couple days but after that I figure we'll move from a bunch people waiting forever for a truck that most of us followed from concept to our driveways. Now when we all get them we will have to share the highs and lows, the good the bad and the ugly..........Luke will be back. He's just living the dream

Now that the ZR2s are starting to show up and get built, I am sure some (most) of us have a tough time leaving things alone.

I'll be taking delivery of my ZR2 in Wallace, Idaho and driving back to Golden, CO.

Soon after getting home, it'll be going under the knife for some mods.

Here is what I have planned in no particular order:
Hefty Fabworks armor. Front bumper, rear bumper, and reinforced sliders.
Skid plates. Why isn't the fuel tank protected?!?
Some sort of track system similar to the Nissan Utilitrack. I love it in my Frontier.
Onboard air compressor.
Driving and/or fog lights.
Upgrade interior lights to LEDs.
Catch can.

And I am sure I will think of other things as they come up.

What do you have planned?

If you are getting your rig from Dave Smith, they are in Kelleog, ID
Just curious, Hefty Fabworks does not show any Colorado bumpers, are they designing them? What sliders were you thinking of putting on, I have not found any that are Colorado specific.
Rigid Industries make a SAE compliant LED fog lights.
I am putting on A Leitner Rack, Rigid Fog Lights, hopefully a Warn winch if I find a mounting bracket, I prefer not to mount a front bumper with winch due to the added weight, Borla Cat Back Exhaust.

You are correct! Kellogg, not Wallace. I was up there looking at one of the mines in the fall. I drove through both, so they kind of blurred together.

HeftyFabWorks doesn't currently make and stuff for the twins, but there is a possibility they might in the future. My truck was the prototype for the front Frontier bumper. One good thing about being in CO is there is no shortage of good fab shops!

I'll be looking at the Rigid lights for sure. There is a license plate mount for lights that I like. However, I might make my own to save some coin for other upgrades.

As far as the sliders are concerned, I want to have a better look at the existing ones before I change them up. Below is the build thread for my Frontier.

Mine sounds about the same, but less raspy.

Bow tie lights up during the day too but you can't really tell. At night it is much more visible. Here is a pic of what it looks like at night:

I traded in a 2015 Colorado Z71 for this. You can definitely tell this truck is taller! The shocks feel really good, less bumpy than I expected from an off road setup.

What no photos? Haha.

I still am waiting, as are many, to see one in person. The three local dealers to me, combined, have ordered all colors expect for Deepwood Green. Really? A ZR2 specific color and none of them ordered one! All are listed as "In Transit" with VIN#'s and pricing.

I'll try and snap a pic today on my way home, I just noticed it this morning on my way to work.

I checked the dealer website and they actually have two ZR2's listed, but just stock photos for now.

I know you're probably looking for photos in the wild, but maybe these will do (attached). I took these at the NY International Auto Show a few weeks back. You can see the Deepwood Green looks like a pretty solid forest green in some lights and very gray in other lights. I ordered mine in this color and am happy to have done so after seeing it in person (I'm in the 5/29 TPW crop, and hoping it keeps sliding forward).

Thanks for the photos, I didn't get down to the NYIAS this year, haven't been in probably 7+ years. Indeed, I am looking more under natural light, there are two photos someone grabbed in the FB Group of Deepwood Green under mostly cloudy conditions, but really want to see the color in person. It looks to be a nice color, and appears to behave similar to Cajun Red, slightly muted during cloudy conditions and more vibrant and depth to the color under full sun conditions.
