I don't think I see a link to this article here.

GM's (GM) New Diesel Engine Enters the Fray Amid Broad Public Censure for VW - TheStreet

Seems to address some of the concerns about the VW issue. Also, read the paragraph about if you let the DEF tank go dry.

They do look a little low, as if they wouldn't actually clear the roof. I don't really even want the lights at all, just the bar. On that Ricky Carmichael custom SEMA build, it had the bars with no lights and looks hella tough.

Great video of the Canyon Diesel on You tube

I just watched a great video on one of my subscriptions on You Tube. Its from Fast lane truck https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhgWOCHfFqU If you know who they are? I hope this link worked, if not just go on You tube and search fast lane truck, it was just posted like a few hours ago. The truck in the video is the best color, I am annoyed at paying 400 bucks for a color but they got me with this color. The Bronze alloy Metallic-A color. Check out the video, let me know what you think.

It looks like the GMC press event was this week. Good news is they had a 4x4 model for testing.

I began to take note of the real-time and average MPGs. We averaged between 28 and 31.5 MPG. I wasn’t driving conservatively either. With the 21-gallon tank, you could get over 500 miles to the tank. Remember the days when only small cars got 30 mpg? On our trip back to the airport, our driver averaged over 33 mpg for a while. It can run on B20 too.

28 overall mpg, meaning it's going to cost you money down here. Glad I didn't bite.

Here is a video of the Z71 Trail Boss diesels from offroad event.

1. Some nice video of the air dam scraping... :)
2. GM showed them a saved trip computer where a prior reporter got 42mpg hypermiling.

That post was a new thread. I didn't see a name of the same so I didn't delete it. Had I noticed I would have not kept it. I can't read every review, and I don't read any of them.
