Cool Review after 800 miles

Well i took her out from the lot last Friday and we had a trip to do to Houston(we live in fort worth, tx).

On the lot i saw some imperfections on the leather of the steering wheel and some scratches on the plastic around the infotainment and others around the door opener inside the driver. Kind of pissed since it is new. I bitched to the dealer and he did ordered some parts to fix it. But still dont know whats going to happen to the steering wheel, he does not seem to be willing to order a new steering wheel.

So after the 800 miles that i have put on the truck i could say i am really happy on how it handles driving on highway and the city. The suspension is kind of stiff, i guess that is because is a z71 4x4?.
It is nice and quiet loved the infotainment system and also android auto.

wife is happy and i am happy.

I have several normal sized speed bumps where I live and WOW, the suspension is so tight they feel like boulders. I have an old VW that takes them like a champ and another lowered TDI with coilovers that takes it much better than this truck. I think it'll soften out after a year or so but right now I'm wishing I sprung for the offload suspension to maybe soften things up a bit. I go 1-2 mph over the bumps too. Canyon V6 4x4 here.

The empty bed makes speed bumps a lot of fun. Toss 1000 pounds or so in the bed and try it again, but it isn't going to ride like a Buick.

2015 Canyon SLT, Copper Red, 2WD, CC, SB, V6, Tow, blk leather, factory spray liner, safety pkg, generic roll up bed cover, Tekonsha P3 Brake Controller.
