Yea, same. I was like WTH?! Sales fellow sheepishly chuckled when I pointed it out. A little sad when even sales is embarrassed.

Yes, even someone I know that bought a $60K 2016 Tahoe got a plastic bag, but not a "zip-lock" type of bag like we did, so we should feel special :)

I bought this for mine:

I think I found the link here on this site, too.

Welcome to C'Fans

Yeah, we discussed our disappointment about this in 15 & 16 too.

@sivartk 's link is a good option, as I had it in my '15, and now have them in the wife's and I's '17's. Everything fits perfectly.

And when you are in a desolate region of Illinois with no internet service, and you need to know where the stupid designers hid the tire changing tool, which fuse does what operation so you can steal on to use on a different location to get you to civilization, etc., what are you going to do?

I would at least download it to your phone for backup.

I would say that the main things I use a printed owner's manual to help me is when I need to know about fuses and replacing burned out lights.

I purchased a shave kit that was on closeout at a local retailer for my glove box. Got some stinky soaps and junk, and a nice camouflage bag that was perfect for my manual for less than $7. I went back to get a second one to replace the stolen bag from my Wrangler, but they were sold out. Everytime I am in that store, I look again, hoping they will have some more.

2015 Canyon SLT, Copper Red, 2WD, CC, SB, V6, Tow, blk leather, factory spray liner, safety pkg, generic roll up bed cover.

I got the cheap plastic pouch as well. This is unacceptable on a $45,000 vehicle. At that price, I expect genuine leather of the highest grade.

Lol, and here I thought my dealer just forgot to give me mine. First new car I've bought that didn't have an actual organizer. Oh well, truck is still awesome anyway.

GM gave plastic bags in the 60's and 70's. Then some got plastic covers in the 90's.

Back to plastic bags in my 08.

Now my new Denali did get a realleather one. No joke. But it was in a plastic bag in the leather case lol!
