When I first joined the forum I asked for recommendations on a flush tonneau cover. I really wanted something that would keep the look of the truck flush and not break the bank. Luckily, I found it!
I honestly could't be happier with the cover. It's perfect. You can tighten it and loosen as needed. Fit seamlessly. It was easy to do alone (but I had my buddy there). They give you a weather sealer too. All in all, for $287, this thing was a steal. Absolutely recommend it to anyone and everyone.
Installed this same cover on my truck too. Works great, looks great! That badge on the back lip is sort of ugly but I only see it if i'm behind my truck, nbd.
I was wondering about that when I saw it in the pictures above. It's very tacky if you ask me. This is likely the cover I'll end up with, but I have a feeling that logo staring me in the face every time I open the tailgate is going to annoy the heck out of me.
I'm also curious about the clamps. Are the two clamps closest to the tailgate different than the rest? It looks a little peculiar.
Thanks for the pictures, these are great! Unfortunately, they confirm that this is not the tonneau cover for me. I need to use that round hole, and don't want to compromise on the install procedure.
It's too bad, too, because there aren't very many reasonably priced covers that hit all the major features I'm looking for. The tool-less tension adjustment in particular seems to be uncommon below the $350 price point.
I know this is an old thread but hopefully you folks that have this cover can answer this.
Installed my Access vanish today on my 16 short bed, no matter what I did to adjust the front and rear height of the rails and adjusting the clamps, the center part of the rail sits lower in the middle, even with the front and back level. This happen to anyone else?
Also I had 2 about 5"sq vinyl squares that I have no idea what they are for? Just plain vinyl squares like they are a patch for repair?
I just installed the Vanish on my Colorado yesterday. I ordered through Tonneau Cover World. I received it in two days! Anyway, I had the same issue with the end clamp bolts since I have a spray in liner. I fought the bolts for a bit until i gave up and went to the hardware store and got 2 bolts that were a 1/2" longer. The end clamps go through the stake holes and work just fine. I think the cover looks great, you can barely tell it's there. Easy to install with one person, a couple clamps and a couple beers.
I ordered and quickly received an Access Vanish cover (along with a DeeZee bed mat) from RealTruck. A good price and I think it a very good cover. The written instructions could use some improvement for clarity's sake, but the online installation videos clear any questions up. The clamps are a bit awkward to deal with but work. I only clamped the provided shims (needed between bed rail cap and bed wall) rather than using their adhesive, that because I'm still debating bed liner options so may need to remove/reinstall again soon.
I also had the issue of the middle of the rails being slightly off level with the rail caps, however it is really not worth the headache to try and solve as it is not noticeable once the cover is rolled out and secured. The matching black color of the cover rails with the rail caps makes the discrepancy all but disappear when the cover is rolled up.
As long as this cover lasts me a few years, it will have been worth the price and I'll be a happy camper.
