Our 2016 Colorado is rainforest green. A color that was unfortunately short lived. We love it! I don't know why Chevy got rid of it.

I originally wanted laser blue back in late 14, but they made it mid-cycle available, so nabbed a desired config'd ext cab red hot that became available locally.
After 25 months, and getting to see all the colors in person, I got a do-over, to get what appealed the best.

Yep, I wanted Silver or Red, however I also wanted CC, LB, 4x4 and when I started looking my choices were very limited. I could have bought short beds all day long. Settled on a Cyber Grey LB with all the options I wanted, within a reasonable distance (2.5 hours away) at a very reasonable price. I like it so far....

Yea....I settled. I would've rather had a royal blue or a copper rust color like the corvettes. This Copper Red Metallic will do. :)

I did not settle. . I ordered out exactly what I wanted in color for exterior and interior. For instance. Dealers seem to order 96% of their inventory with ALL black interiors when leather. I wanted the two tone Black/Ashen Gray leather.

In fact, I would venture to say many folks do not even KNOW there is another interior color. This also translates to some other areas of the interior like two tone door panel and dash trim which we liked because it lightened up the inside a bit.
I did toy with the idea of a Canyon with the Brownstone exterior and Cocoa Dune interior. Wife thought we would not like it after awhile. And Cyber Gray is a more popular color and not dinged on resale if you check those things.

So we got a Colorado LT CCSB with both the Luxury & Convenience packages which also was difficult to find. Seems dealers like to order one or the other not both. Also, some dealers seemed to have mostly CC Long Bed models like Laura in Illinois does. And, we did not have to buy Nav and other things that we did not want. Always was irritating to shop for a best price and find I would have to buy some "Sun & Sound" or other nonsense package IMHO.

2017 2WD Colorado LT V6 CCSB Luxury & Convenience Pkgs, Black/Ashen Gray Leather, Bullet Bedliner, ARE cap.

I wanted black as my S10 was black. I settled on silver because I didn't want white. I've had silver before and don't mind, long as it's not white I said. White trucks remind me of my work trucks.

I park in very dirty, dusty locations and live where coal and flyash hauling trucks are every other vehicle on the road, so Silver Ice Metallic was my choice. Deep metallic reds and blues are my favorite truck colors, however after seeing how bad my 2013 Silverado in Deep Ruby Metallic looked all the time, back to silver I went. Found the truck in dealer stock with the exact package I wanted too.

Got exactly what I wanted. Black, crew cab, long bed, Z71, 4WD, D-Max. Now I could have done without the Trailboss package. Its nice but not worth the extra money IMO. I know I'll never buy Duratrac tires when they need replaced because no one around stocks them but everyone has BFG KO2 or General AT2 on the shelf. The new aftermarket off road bar looks a lot better than the stock one. The step bar, bed liner, and blacked out I did really want though.

A guy I work with is going to trade his FJ off for the exact configurations as mine.

I test drove another one at a different dealer and they were trying hard to get me to buy it but it was a short bed LT model; eventually I told them to only way I'd buy it is if they did an engine swap with the one parked next to it (a white crew cab, long bed, 4wd, z71 with gas) and then I'd buy the white one instead. Kept telling me they couldn't get exactly what I wanted unless I wanted to special order it and that there wasnt a single one within 150 miles that they could try and trade for. I found mine myself at a dealer 50 miles away, bought it, and then when the first dealer called me back again to try to get me to buy the truck I test drove let them know how much I appreciated the one I just bought haha.

I got the laser blue I wanted, it took me about 5 months of searching inventory within a 100 mile radius everyday to find the CCLB Z71 in laser blue, but it was definitely worth it. At least once every day I have people tell me how nice my truck is.

Almost got the red quartz as that is one cool color, but changed my mind and got bronze alloy instead. Figured it would hide dirt well and it looks nice and elegant with the cocoa/dune interior. Very happy with my truck's colors and the truck overall. What a nice vehicle. Tickles me pink every time I drive it.

Lot didn't have my preferred Cyber Gray color and I didn't have time to have it ordered. So I settled with what they had, Black.

Yes...I got Silver because it was the only All Terrain or Canyon they had on the lot. My preference would have been a metallic Red color. Now that I have it I can say I really like the Quick Silver Metallic paint GMC uses. Once I sealed the paint with Jet Seal it really is a pretty color and looks clean even when it isn't.
