Awesome!
You are not from Texas, are you? Texans would use that to pick their teeth.

No, I'm from Canada, you know, that place where everyone thinks you can't own something like that but it's not true.

It's to put "stuff" in that will vibrate and rattle and then wonder where the dickens the rattle in the center dash area is coming from.

I will have to use the Onstar glass breaker app in that scenario. That's for when I fall asleep and take the truck for a swim.

That space is perfect for my wife to store a few packets of Sweet-n-Low.

If I remember correctly, the trucks without heated seats have a larger compartment, perhaps higher caliber storage area?

Not on my Canyon SLE AT, heated seats and still the useless 3" compartment!

You still have heated seats on the AT. Find an SLE without the AT package.

That is why they have so many airbags. Airbag deployment will stop that rattle also.

My Z71 had heated seats, till I removed the switches. In S FL, they felt like hamsters breathing on your back. No heat got through the neoprene seat covers. When I decide to sell it, I will pop the correct trim back with the switches reconnected.

It makes about as much sense to me as the slot on the drivers side dash panel.

Now that has real use. For anyone who has to use an access key for their home/work, it is perfect. I actually appreciate that gm put something there for those of us (most of us) without the trailer brake controller.
