My under seat storage solution

After picking up my crew cab canyon a week ago I realized that storage is super tight under the rear seat. I'm super picky and I don't like things just laying loose under the seat to roll around. I went to Walmart and found these containers from Sterlite and they fit perfect. 2 of them will fit perfect side by side. The length is super tight and the height is perfect. I was hoping this would help someone as picky as me

Edit: Link for them at Walmart: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Sterilite...achet/49527435

They are 2.63 each. Pretty cheap storage solution

I like it! I would imagine the containers won't slide back due to the angle of the seat when in the down position?

Correct. Mine haven't slid at all. They are also snug end to end so I think that helps too. The best part is that they don't cover the jack handle so it's accessible too.

I actually haven't tried that so i'll have to check. I will have a car seat on that side soon anyway so I won't be able to use that side. My son uses a booster seat so his goes on the drivers side.

Thanks for the tip. I might have to do that. I wonder how well they will hold up to the Texas heat? Maybe just buy 10 of them at once to be safe.

Yeah I totally keep stuff on the rear driver's seat (easier for me to access) which is why I ask

I picked mine up locally. You may be able to run to your local Walmart and get them.

Nice find. I don't think that would work for me as I keep my tow ball mount under the seat along with an air compressor and other stuff. I wonder if they have a single box that would fit under the seat with all this stuff?

It will all have to be moved if and when I get the kicker subwoofer...

Thanks for posting, I bought 3 (Texas heat, always good to have a backup) at a Wal-Mart on my way home from work. Now I just need my truck to arrive so that I can fill them up and put them under the seat.

Thanks again to sabbotage for the original post! I went to Walmart within the first week of owning my truck and got these storage containers. A few weeks later, now with a "necessity" my father found and mailed to me insisting i store it somewhere, here is a photo of my current under seat set up. I originally had two of the sterilite containers (1 with basic tools and the other microfiber rags). Now with my newly acquired safety kit (which fits just as nice as the sterilite), my rags just get thrown in until i figure out a storage add on solution. I miss my full size pickup space

Great idea for containing straps and bungees under there!

I know those bins. I use a few of them in the basement shop for storage of small sets of parts, like sharpening stones and supplies, or sanding supplies, etc. Super handy.

Looks like I'll be buying at least two more.

I too bought a couple of these and they work great. My local Walmart had 5 singles of these the last time I was there. If someone wants some, let me know and I'll check on them. $3 each plus whatever shipping ends up being, not trying to make anything on them.
