This is the GMC black version, and now there's a darker Grey like in the background version, unlike the light Grey I posted above.

Does anyone know the part number for the Black Colorado or Black Canyon? I am assuming that either black one would fit both models and match the interior leather?

I have the 2016 Colorado LT with Full Black Leather Seats. I have to say that dang center console that I have sure hurts the elbow since it so hard.

I did the same thing in my 2010 Gen I Colorado. Only, we used the Hummer H2 padded console lid which required quite a bit of manicuring.

The Colorado should also come with the stitched dash/instrument panel and door armrests like the Canyon has had since 2015 too. Not sure why the Chevy gets all the hard plastic parts, especially for armrests.

There is another thread which covers this pretty thoroughly.

http://coloradofans.com/#/topics/262...e=15&_k=ybylzk

Posts #145 and 146 have the info, but because I'm such a swell guy, here are the part #'s:

Black leather cover only: 23125404
Black leather lid assembly: 23367169

The second one is the entire lid assembly, so it costs a bit more. Hopefully someone will get the part numbers for the new Z71 lids soon.

Does anyone have a part number for this yet? I tried searching a lot of the online GM parts places and most of them don't have anything for the 2017 Colorado yet.

So no problem with the install for yours? Just unscrew the hinges and put the new one in? Did it all come assembled for $120?

Mr. Clean Magic Erasers.

Works like a charm on most things. Careful though, it is abrasive. Harder you scrub it COULD potentially pull the color out of the leather.

There's another thread about this that covers install, I believe you need to take the rear plastic trim piece off. Back where the rear seat USBs are. Click the link on post 27 of this thread. Good info in there.

Another thing they upgraded for 17 is the Z71 now comes with the matching darker grey leather lid with white stitching, instead of the grey "hose" material, so no need to track down parts to replace this time around.

The parts guy ordered it and Chevy sent him the old version Z71 armrest that I have already. He's trying to order it again. If he can't get it I'm going to order the GMC black with white stitching armrest. No luck so far. If I get it, I will post the order number. I know for sure the Canyon armrest fits fine. @RatRacers photo above ^

Are you talking about the new 2017 Colorado Z71 armrests?

Sorry, is the black padded Canyon stitched arm rest. Not the Z71 "dark gray".

Swap complete....thanks guys for the "tips" regarding the rear of the console. The whole project was very simple and the new lid looks so much better! This is how the Colorado should have looked in the first place!
