Cabin Filter

Hi All, Quick question here. Where is the cabin filter located on our 2017 Colorado ? I can't seem to find the info on line, and the manual says that you should talk to your dealer (pay them to change it I assume) when it is time to have it changed. Any help would be appreciated.

It is behind the glove box, pull the 2 pins on bottom of glove box, may need to unhook the small cable on right side, and it is underneath. Pull the cover and it slides right out.

@squiggyfreud gave the basic instructions, but do a search on "cabin filter" with the quotations in the 2nd gen forums and you should be able to find some threads with pictures.

Post 11 on this thread should be helpful.

When you can't dazzle them with brilliance, you have to baffle them with links. (((GOTCHA)))

The search function here is not as robust as many would like, but when you have some clues as to what you are interested in, use of quotation marks and various other tricks can narrow the search. Otherwise, a search on cabin filter without quotes may have overwhelmed you. A search on just filter or air filter without quotes on "air filter" would have returned hits on oil filter, engine air filter, and probably a host of totally unrelated threads.

I bought a K&N lifetime cabin filter for mine, just did the first cleaning of it after a year, was not near as dirty as the OEM it replaced.
