Installed and all I can say is WOW!
Took it for a spin and am still smiling.

This is the truck I thought I bought almost 2 years ago.

Thought of 2 more scenarios for ECO mode
1. winter driving
2. teen driving, I have a teen driver getting her hours in and this may help her lead foot a little.

me on the other hand, I am not sure yet what mode I will be in, I guess it depends on my mood.

Z71 Cyber Metallic / CC / SB
NXt Boards / Folding Soft Cover / 1.25 Zone / 265-70-17 BFG KO2 / Air Dam Delete

Took the truck for a quick spin and have finally figured out how to fix the driveability issue with these trucks. If you're still on the fence about buying one then get off the damn fence and go buy one. I wish I would of before I tried the trifecta tune. I pulled the tune off and drove it with only the pedal commander and that is all it needs to make it a compleatly different truck.

I agree 100 % regarding the trifecta tune. For me the tune worked until the tranny learned it and started chugling. Now I'm also back to stock, I asked trifecta if they could provide a tune file without the sports mode (I can only imagine the aggressiveness of the sports mode with PC in city +) so I can still use the ECO tune but they told me that it's not an option. For safety I will not use the tune with the PC installed.

Got mine today. Simple and fast install. No problems. Only took it for a short drive in the neighborhood. Huge difference. One question, How do you get it in Eco mode. I see how to go from City, to sport to Sport+, it just never goes to Eco mode. I was thinking that the led was bad but it jumps from off to City to Sport , to Sport+, back to off.

You press and hold the on/off (inside the yellow star) button. Mine jumps into ECO mode doing so. After that pressing once it turns off.

No problem, at first I couldn't find the on/off button, it blends in well.

I had my first full day with the PC. My check engine light (caused by me, not the PC), went away after a few starts. There is still slight diesel turbo lag which is normal but after that, what a rocket. Gotta watch I don't get in trouble. Dealing with advance green lights, yellow lights and general impatient idiots is no longer a problem yet I can still drive gently when needed. I got onto a tight and twisty back road and had to keep reminding myself that this good handling truck is not a sports car. I still find city +1 is about right.

2016 Canyon SLT Crew Cab Shortbox Duramax Diesel, Summit White/Jet Black.

Engine built 1/12/16
Placed order 2/20/16
Dealer ordered 2/25/16
Target Production Week 4/11/16
Built and shipped 4/12/16
Delivered to dealer 4/22/16
Drove it home 4/27/16

I received mine Thursday afternoon. Installed it Friday before I drove to work. It took less than 3 minutes. It does exactly as advertised. I started in the city +2. Have been dialing it back. I keep pushing the pedal too far but will learn the pedal soon I hope. Works very well with the DT ecm and tcm tunes. I am definitely not feeling the dead pedal any more. Just some minor turbo lag in some situations at lower rpms. The PC is a must to feel confident of the throttle. Now when I push the accelerator, it responds immediately instead of the 1...2...3...4...GO I have gotten used to. Everyone on this thread that has installed their PC knows what I am saying. Those who are still waiting, get this before it is out of stock!

I am using more gas since putting the PC on but it's because I want to drive it for fun now.

It's up to you. Yes I initially saw the worst fuel numbers ever while hammering the truck around which is now easier to do. But, by the second day, you get used to your new way of using the throttle and the truck can be driven just as gently as ever and with exactly the same good mileage. Highway cruise mileage is unchanged as is overall power. The plus is when you want a jump in power, it's right there without trying. On the first day, I wondered how much I liked this thing. Now on day two, I know how to use it for any result I want and I love it. Money well spent!
