Steering Wheel Audio Controls on WT

Has anyone upgraded to steering wheel audio controls after swapping out the HMI module, in particular from an I04 to I06 and from a 4.2 to 8 inch screen? Everything works perfectly after the upgrade, and I would like the convenience of audio controls on the steering wheel. Thank you in advance!

Assuming you have the data wire from the head unit, give me a few minutes and I will show you where to tie into the existing wires to get it up and working. The picture on the PAC module site is 100% wrong.

PS, here is my original thread dealing with this topic - LIN WIRE for Steering wheel controls

I know I posted the right picture for where to tie into the stock SWC wire, but for the life of me I cant find it here.
I know it was easiest to lower the steering wheel adjustment, and you tie into it above the steering cluster. Plenty of room and you dont have to remove any trim panels. I will find that picture though, I have it somewhere.

I wonder if the WT has the wire that Controls the audio is going to the steering wheel. The dealer told me that the WT doesn't, but I have trust issues with them. Since I've upgraded from the 4.3 inch screen I04 HMI module to the 8 inch screen and I06 HMI module, I wonder if buying a new steering wheel with the Audio Controls installed will work. What do you all think? Has anyone gone through this upgrade path?

I think it won't work until the truck itself is updated to recognize the new hardware.
