OPT7 CREE V2 XB-D LED Fog Light Bulbs

Ive been reading the threads regarding fog lights. Opinions and options vary. I am looking info from someone who actually has these installed:

CREE V2 Series: LED Fog Light Replacement Bulbs

I assume they are just plug and play, correct? Any heat issues?
Can you see better with these? More light projected?
Any problems with oncoming traffic being bothered because of brightness?

Any insight is welcomed.... thanks!

I just installed mine on Saturday. They are brighter for sure and light the front of the truck a lot better. They do spread the beam a lot. It might just be because they are brighter so it is more noticeable but i can now see signs off in the distance that are below the line on the headlights. I have not driven with them much yet but so far i am pretty happy with them.

I installed those bulbs you linked the other day. Much cleaner white but they do scatter the light a bit but it achieves my goal!

I used these and they have been great for months, and what I like about them is they have cooling features. I've used this particular ebay member for most of my LED bulbs and have had zero issues and he is a US seller. I have no experience with the bulbs in your link but they appeared to not have cooling fins at the very least.

I just got mine the other day. I have one installed on the drivers side. I'm waiting for an opportunity to take it out and get some pictures that will show the difference between the LED and the stock bulb. Just turning them on in the garage, I can definitely see a difference between the two. There is zero clearance in my garage with the door closed, but here's a quick shot from the driver's side to show the difference.

LOL! I thought the same thing when mine arrived. But, I'd rather see them invest in their product and keep cost down. What cracks me up are the companies who pack them in those expensive looking aluminum briefcase looking cases. I mean, seriously? What are you going to do with that fancy case once you install the bulbs? I guess you could save it and then use it to give the Bulbs a nice coffin to be buried in when they fail!

Put the fogs in today. Super easy! Haven't tested in real world driving but the level of brightness I'm getting, I'm scared to do my lows.

Photos attached are stock, comparison, leds (as if needed to explain...)

The lows are a whole different story since they are projectors. Most of the foglight glare is due to the reflector housings. I rarely use my fogs but when I do I wanted them to match the lows.

Long story short, I had to adjust my lows down 12.5" at 25 feet.
