How would you compare the 5700k Cyclops color to the 6000k Opt7s?
Is it relatively the same or is there a noticeable difference?

Those leds are tempting, but wish they sold matching highs and fogs.

I had to get cut the bulb connector cable (power to the ballast) and make it fit, this was not plug and play. but once you make it fit, it works without errors

That wouldn't be the longest random trip I've made. In college one summer my friend from Ohio never bought a plane ticket home and I asked him what he was going to do, so he said "wanna give me a ride?" 1 hour of packing and 22 hours of driving later we were in the far northwest corner of Ohio.

It's close to the same, but slightly noticeable. I've always liked 5000k for the most "visible" light and I can tell these are closer to that but they definitely still aren't there. I would buy these over the OPT7 every single time, but I don't know if most people will appreciate the slight difference enough to justify the change if you already have OPT7s.

I bought matching highs from them. They have 9005s. I haven't changed fogs because I don't use them at all, and if it ever hits weather where I need to use them the less white factory fog lights will outperform super bright LEDs. There are a lot of LED fogs out there, but I don't think Cyclops has anything that'll fit in out housings.

I would have the same question against the morimoto 2 strokes for the lows. They are my front runner- any idea how they would compare in either beam/light or general build quality?

The morimoto's look really nice, but seeing how I can buy both the low and high beam bulbs from cyclops for less than the 2 stroke, it's hard to justify. Based on that photo the cyclops looks like a darn good performer.

Actually I take it back. Cyclops leds are sold as each, not pairs, so they are a little pricy. I called them up about their shipping rates and they gave me a promo code of "cyc". It cut the shipping costs in half and also gave a small discount on the order.

Go to TRS, and see how much for their 2 Stroke LED pairs vs Cyclops individuals...

So I'm sitting here at the website for the cyclops LED lightbulbs and it doesnt mention anything about adapting to the truck side connector. Is that a separate part number?

It's an H11, they all plug in the same. Just get the H11 for low and if you want high beams get the 9005 as well, they will plug right in.

I might have to go this way, for some reason my truck keeps eating the drive side HID bulb.

Do the leds fit behind the stock covers?

Is anyone running these with switchback front turn signals? Wondering if these 5700k headlights look back with a 6000k front switchbacks? I may be a tad OCD with things matching, just wondering what others think of running them together?

This is interesting. I am a but underwhelmed with the light output from the OE units on my Canyon All-Terrain.

Just poked around a bit under the hood to see what might be involved in this. Drivers side is easy, the headlamp housing access ports are wide open. Passenger side...not so much. There's this odd, black rubber panel that wraps from the core support around onto the passenger side inner fender. Doesn't look like it just pops out easily.

From what I have read, I head its easier to go through the wheel well on that side. Just loosen the plastic on the wheel well you don't even have to take it all the way off.
