Want to hear some bass?

So I have the the non-Bose stereo in my truck. However there are a few songs that really make this system sound amazing. I will link 2 of them...either download them or stream them... I would say 5% of my music sounds this good, most does not. Its sad because I now know the capabilities of this stereo...if it was only driven right... (BTW the daft punk song sounds like I have a sub-woofer installed....)

I hope the links work.

To be honest I am pretty impressed with the non-Bose system. I've always had Bose in my GM vehicles. The Colorado is the first without it. I figured I could always upgrade it, but I'm finding that I probably don't need to. Unless I get really bored. lol

Links work fine.
Yeah, the standard system actually sounded decent, and kicked some bass when above 50%, when I played MP3's. At ~60%, I could actually hear the rear speakers start adding fill.

Yup...forgot to mention...turn your volume to at least 50%.

On my most recent test drive, I found the non-Bose stereo fairly unimpressive, until I found the equalizer. After some adjustment, I was completely satisfied with the sound.

I agree . . . however, I do have an item waiting in the wings for that "bored" moment. Soon as it gets a bit warmer and I have the time.
I just want a bit more bass fill in the back. I could have gone to a larger one like some others have, but I've heard this one and it is more than adequate for me.

Yes, adjustments are definitely needed to add some body to the sound from the factory default settings.

Be sure to report back once you get that installed. I would be interested to hear your review.

Here's a YouTube review with sound. There are others as well. Use some decent headphones or speakers to hear the difference:

Good stuff Dano . . . .

Try this one. I found more as well. Two versions for comparison. Minute mark 2:45 gets serious. This really gives the wife's Equinox Pioneer factory system a work out. :)
