"Convenient" connection for underdash lighting?

I wish to add some white 12 volt LED light strips under-dash that operate with the dome lights. Such as these:

Is there a "convenient" spot/location to pick up 12 volt power that operates with dome lighting?

Diode Dynamics offers a Footwell LED Light Kit for the twins. The page that advertises the kit has a hot link to installation instructions for the kit. Maybe you could pick up some inspiration there. Here is their offering:

Thanx.

Tried that. Those instructions appeared to require installing a separate switch to power the LED's from a constant 12V source, not from a dome light circuit...

Installed mine in a fuse in the passenger footwell that comes on when the key is on.

I tapped into the "cigarette lighter" style 12V socket wires under the pop off panel on the sides of the center console. A little tight but worked great. Have my footwell lights, police scanner, and radar detector all running through it.
