Second opinion before buying

So, before I pull the trigger on the HID retrofit and some switchback turn signals, I just want opinions if what I've read up on and decided is what Ill need.

  • Switchbacks from Diode Dynamics with resistors

  • RETRO-QUIK: HONDA ACCORD / 4G TL (13+) (as stated in the retrofit thread, the accord is a plug n play for the colorado)
---With 50W ballasts and the HD relay harness
---Also, adding in the Morimoto anti-flicker capacitor link

  • Gen5DIY DRL Relocate Harness

Anything I'm missing? Thanks guys!

I used these led switchbacks
They are 2 months in no issues.

Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/182316186320

Save yourself 25.00 lol

I also made a wiring harness so I wouldn't have to tap factory wiring keep in mind that the front turn signals on our trucks for CK Style you can't buy them you have to make them you'll need a soldering gun hot glue gun and a little bit of wiring know how to get the job done if you want to go this route.

The picture is somewhat incorrect I had to extend out the wires on the resistor so it would contact the interior portion of the crash bar where I put a self-tapping screw to keep these puppies cool it is the safest place that I could find and it will be clear of all plastic wiring and hoses also note did if I was going to do it again I would have ordered the Morimoto resistors from the retrofit source and I made upgrade to those one day but right now they're working perfect

Lol, you now confused me on why I would need a soldering hun and a hot glue hun lol. I thought it was plug in play besides T taping into the two wires on the harness and placing the resistor somewhere far enough away to not burn anything? Is that correct? @Blue15ColoradoLT @Diode Dynamics

The bulbs from EBAY and from DD
Will work without doing all that work lol but I just didn't want to tap my factory wiring.

They will work with a simple wire tap going to a resistor :)

The resistors get hotttttt back side of the crash bar is ideal.

If u take off the triangular looking peace right in front of your front tire you will have access to it :)

Either way will work. He just made his own harness. He's only 2 months in his harness so we'll see how it holds up down the road. My technique is 2 years running strong so hopefully his will hold as long as mine.

Awesome thanks, and you're talking about where you T-taped right before the connector correct?
