You probably could, but you would not have the same engine/performance. Different compression, head design, cam timing, etc. In fact, would probably be a good way to "blow" your engine.

Not on a low boost application. Nice 8lbs of boost would be really nice. Plus you tune the performance into the truck. You will only blow the motor getting too aggressive with the tune. All the performance companies out there throw superchargers and turbos on high compression engines all the time and still make massive gain on pump gas.

This is true, but you sacrifice long term reliability. My point being all factory turbo or supercharged performance engines are engineered for the extra power/performance. Lower compression (generally), stronger crank, rods and pistons, different bearings, etc. Yes, we can put "bolt on" turbos, superchargers, etc. and keep the boost low. It is a significant performance gain, but don't expect to get the same "life" out of your engine. If you only plan on keeping your truck a couple to 3 years, go for it! And wave when you blow by me.

You can, and then tell us how it works when you get it sorted. It would be cheaper to get the whole engine with computers and fuel system and then all the parts will be happy together.
