Door Latch Defect?

So this weekend was going great, went to jump in my truck and the passenger side door wouldn't open. Double checked the lock and tried to open it from the inside. No luck. So Monday morning dropped by the dealer and 30 mins later they confirmed yep, the door latch is broken. Parts came in today and after 3 hours this morning, they fixed the door. Still have to go back because they are ordering replacement interior door panel hardware they must have had to tear apart to access the door mechanicals. The door panel just had a couple scuffs where they pulled it apart, but I'm happy they are doing it right. Jim Browne Chevy, Tampa gets a shout out from me. They did what they could to make it right and get me on my way with minimal inconvenience. First I've heard of this problem on any blog, so putting it out there in case it helps anyone. No other problems for me, but they handled a few things during my oil changes to include: squeak in the front end I asked them to check out (re-torqued the swaybar and all is quiet), transfer case module (replaced-didn't know there was a problem), fresh air vent actuator that just started making a popping sound (replaced-all good), and a small paint defect on the roof (fix was perfect), and some software updates on the infotainment system. Overall, been really happy with the build quality and how quiet and smooth this truck is in spite of these little issues.
