Fix for “Service Rear Vision System” and a USB charging concern

I occasionally has the “Service Rear Vision System” message show up, there is a fix for this, a software update. The TSB is #17-NA-025. So far all is fine, however the update deleted all my addresses in the navigation system. The other concern I had is that the front USB does not put out enough current to charge the phone if I am using Android Auto. I measured it at about 200 milliamps. The USB port in the console measures the same, however the rear two ports charge at over an amp, enough to charge the phone while using Android Auto, so I just use one of those while driving. I was told that it is “working as designed.” I love that statement, and it will become my new excuse for my behavior!!! Why were you speeding, “I was working as designed.” You’re not listening to me, “I was working as designed.”

I bought a charge cable with a cigarette lighter-style adopter at one end and use that to charge my 'Droid. Works well enough. I think the front USB's are mainly meant as input for music and phone link up and such, and the back ones more for charging. Seems like I read that somewhere...
