My truck was built and delivered in April. Would it be part of the April numbers or would it count as February when I ordered? Thanks.

These are USA sales figures only.

Canadian sales figures are not available by engine. So your RPO Z49 is not included in those totals.

I would agree that it is probably production constraints where they are keeping numbers to 10%. I wonder if they are playing a "let's see how these really do" game or if the demands on the engine fabrication plant are that tight? What would be great is to see GM boost diesel production an additional 5-10% of total for next year and see if they continue to sell out. maybe offer it in the extended cab next year? There has to be an equelibation at some point.

These Minimaxes are such a great choice to power this platform, I think we will see diesel number rise as the market catches on. GM sure isn't pushing them either. If it wasn't for this little powerplant, I'd still be driving a Silverado. That V6 gasser just wouldn't fill my needs.

Well, based on the numbers, the forecasted 10% take rate on diesels may have been a bit high.

Real question is the lower take rate because of supply or demand?

EXCELLENT question! I'm betting on demand, constrained by price.
