And you made your views known, but this thread has degenerated into politics.

May I suggest:
1) finding a candidate for governor who is in favor of repealing the tax.
2) working through the state legislature to change the tax so light duty diesels are exempted.
3) non-violent protests.
4) utilizing the media to make your views known.

I highly doubt Jerry Brown or anyone in his office is monitoring this forum.
Uh, if this thread pisses you off so much, why do you keep coming back to it?

I was replying to some else; beside, has to do with the Diesel Tax. Ask, where the Tax is going to, CALPERS?

LOL.

In my younger years I was the rentee (in Norco CA right after college) and during the recession of '08-'10 I was the renter, sometimes to multiple people. These days, nah!

We have a lot of Californian's around here. Some Texans hate that but these are my fellow Americans so I welcome them. Doesn't hurt my property values either! My ex-roommate back in Corona,CA is a truck driver and he helped me out and drove for my start up company here in TX last year. He liked it so much that he went and grabbed all of his stuff and relocated his entire life to TX. What's funny is the company he is driving for now, 5 of the 9 driver's are from CA and they told him that the people from California work harder. They actually paid to relocate him from CA based on a referral and their faith in CA truck drivers. he told me the TX drivers all paid $80K for their homes and they all paid them off and don't seem to care too much about working. All the CA guys are mid 40s trying to finally save for their first home.

I have enjoyed this post to see what is going on in CA today. I was born and raised in Santa Monica when it was a nice Beach town. I had the privileged to leave in 1974 and have never looked back. Seeing what those that are still there have to go through, you have my condolences. It was a great place to grow up, but I wouldn't even go back for my last class reunion.

Holy crap! Apparently all that tax revenue from the marijuana didn't help with lowering any of the other taxes in CO, huh?
