I think we have the same flares(EGR?). You gonna push out your wheels further to accommodate the 13.5" width, or are you thinking you'll be fine running the way it is?
As far as getting flack for running 22s(I'm assuming that's what you're talking about?), I'd usually be the first in line to throw the poo, but naw man...it's a show(case) truck
You gotta run the edge-of-the-spectrum stuff man. Not to mention it's your truck, not anybody else's. You gotta run what makes you happy. Besides, being different is what fuels change. It's all good
I only throw poo at people when they try to tell everyone what they're running is the 'best', and everyone else is subpar for not being like them
haha thanks! I'm a fan of multiple build styles: slammed/bagged, pavement princess, dedicated trail/rock/desert rigs..... if I had enough money, I'd build one of each! As for the wheels, I am going wider with a more aggressive offset. I'm currently running a 20x10 -25 and was surprised at how well these trucks could handle that stance. The body lift is definitely needed to make the new wheel/tire package work though lol I did have the EGR flares but took them off... I preferred the stance without them.

My PIAA 520 Ions were just regular bulbs and they had a cutoff designed into the lens. I remember them even stating in the instructions that if the light was to be mounted upside down then you'd have to disassemble the lens and flip it to ensure the cutoff was proper. So I was just wondering if BD had the same.

Well I don't think would necessarily make me "wrong".... since I said that I had never seen a foglight with a cutoff comparable to an HID lol

Looks like I'll be rocking a different set of wheels than originally planned. Long story short... DPR is under new management, and there was no end in sight of whether or not we would continue our sponsorship.

So, I got ahold of Scott over at @CUSTOMWHEELS4U and he was able to snag me a set of Grid Off-Road GD-4's in 22x12 -44!! Hopefully they'll be here in about a week or so!

Luckily, this picture IS of the 22x12 -44 size. Wheel manufacturers get in the habit of only showing how the biggest wheel, with the biggest lip or biggest degree of concavity look when you're scrolling through their website. I saw these wheels in the 17" or 18" size on google images.... definitely not a fan haha

I have to be honest Tilley, I liked the green wheels better and I usually don't like green wheels on vehicles. In the case of this truck, however, they looked right. I thought it was a great look.

Every look will draw love or hate. I loved the previous build and was very happy with the turn out..... but there was still those that seemed to think that green wheels didn't belong on a truck. And there will be people who don't like this new look either. But at the end of the day, I enjoy making a truck "mine"... and knowing that I'll still have the only Colorado with this distinct look, is what I love the most.

Sure I get that but for my money, white truck with black wheels has been done about a billion times. it's your truck of course so do what makes you happy.
