Good to know. I've been between the BFG's and the Goodyear Duratracs. Maybe I will have to check pricing and availability of the Falkens too when I am ready to purchase a new set. Thanks

I just put some falken wildpeak at3s on my canyon today ...went with 255 70 18s and they ride great! They look great too! I'm glad I went with these.

I saw it there yesterday. Very nice. Only saw one other Colorado and one Canyon in the whole show which was kinda disappointing. And didn't see one in the parking lot either although I didn't drive down every aisle.

Yeah, it's a shame that they aren't getting more publicity after barely being able to keep them on the lots. Their time will come though!!

Added a 12V Plug direct to the battery with an in line 20A Fuse. This will be used for a 50watt VHF/UHF radio that I can easily remove when not needed. Next up is to make a bracket for the radio.

Glad to see you doing this. I was thinking tonight, where to mount my rig?

Does it attach on all four corners?

Edit : Okay, a better look at the photos answered my own question.

- Added a bracket for a Pro-eagle Floor Jack
- Added an antenna to the roof
- Did additional trimming to clear the 33's

I just had to order a special size tap to thread the holes for the jack bracket. Should have it fully mounted in the next few days

Weren't you working with a company on a tire gate or a rear bumper carrier option?

It's shaping up like I'm gonna have to get custom front and rear bumpers done. I really want a Demillo style front bumper, rear TBD but ideally it's a high clearance (I'm OK with cutting the bed sides) set up with a tire carrier. A boy can dream...

Yeah I was but they kind of fell off the radar and stopped responding. They since showcased one at SEMA however and didn't inform me. Kind of bummed I went out of my way for them to measure my truck and leave it there and everything for them to build it for someone else.

Trying to knock out as much stuff as possible for my 150 mile journey across the Mojave Trail. Not someplace you want to get stuck at! Setting sail at 3am on Saturday. Slated to be completed over 2.5 days. Going with 6 other Toyota Tacoma. We will see how they compare!

Thanks guys!

Got the jack mounted the other night, turned out awesome IMO!

Going to be attempting a 150 mile journey across the desert, the Mojave Road. An old Indian trading route with water crossing and soft lake beds. Will be back Monday with lots of pictures.

Project Radrunner

Made it all 140+ miles without a hitch. Was a blast. There was fine, technical rocky sections and whoops. Has it all! Enjoy some photos from the adventure.

One of the guys got a blowout on the trail. Thank god for the jack!
