Superskidz are a must!

If anyone is serious about taken their trucks off the beaten path, skid plates are a must! When looking under my truck today, I noticed how much of a beating they've taken. I'm not easiest on my truck but I try to take the best path. The best path is not always a good path, just better than the alternative. If attached a photo of what appears to be a pretty big hit that could have done a number on my crossmember had there been no protection. The differential plate has also taken some mild hits and done well! Don't say I didn't tell you!

Does anyone have any pics of the transfer case skid plate? I really don't want to knock that damn drain plug off and I'm curious what your plates look like.
Thanks in advance.

I just have the stock Z71 plate for now. He hasn't completed his transfer case plate yet.

I'm guessing you'll be going with Superskidz once he makes them?

Debating if I should get the factory one or wait?

If you get the GM one for now, get the Shield & Bolt Kit (PN# 23282726), it's actually cheaper ($56.95) than buying the Shield by itself.....and the bolts are crazy expensive $14.00/ea LOL

Shield & Bolt Kit PN# 23282726 $56.95
Shield PN# 20922755 $75.00
Bolts w/washer PN# 11518341 are $14.00/ea

Seems like the Superskidz website is down. What's the best way to purchase these skidplates?

I will be replacing mine with the transfer skid. The factory one is better than nothing, but it's fairly thin and mounted simply on one side. Not really ideal.

I used to do a bunch of off roading, and beat the hell out of my skid plates. Never broke anything on the truck though. They were definitely a good investment for me. :)

Would a lift kit affect the skid plates? say a 3" icon stage 2 lift?
