Sunday Wheeling

Had fun playing around at sundog trails today. Figured I'd test out the truck and see what she could do. This thing is pretty solid off road for a stock truck.

Looking good!

I agree, for a stock truck I continue to be impressed overall. I did find an uphill I couldn't make and had to turn around and go back today though. Wasn't too much of a hill, but with an inch of snow and the mud under the snow it was just too slick for the stock tires, which aren't very good in slick clay mud.

I removed my air-damn about 500 miles after i got my 4x4. I didnt notice much of a difference and most of my commuting is highway (roughly 50 miles round trip to work). I'm at about 7,500 miles on my collie, and I average about 21-22 mpg if I hold 70mph here in Central Florida. Stock tires, stock tune, stock everything minus air damn delete.

So far I haven't noticed any difference, I haven't leveled it yet it's still bone stock. And thank you! It flexes pretty good, was fun getting it on 3 wheels occasionally!

Can't wait to put a coilover lift on and bigger tires, that will really help. I agree though, just removing that snow plow made a huge difference. If I hadn't removed it I would definitely have ripped it off over one of these hills.

y'all are only seeing between 21-22 mpg? do you have the diesel or the gasser? the only reason I ask is I peg it at 70 I am seeing between 26 and 29 mpg. I do have the diesel though. thanks for the info. I am thinking about doing this for the clearance/approach angle but was apprehensive due to loss of fuel mileage. thanks for the info.
