The Silverado has this and not the little brother.

So my truck is in the shop, long story short something with the computer(s). So they put me up in a Silverado and going through the menus, I find this. The Silverado is 2WD. I kinda wish my 4WD Colorado had this.

I'm not certain but I'm pretty sure you can add more cards in the computer somehow.

That's interesting. I hope so. I know for the off road one I mention there would have to be sensors added too.

You can but this isnt one of the options (at least on the '16). What year was the silverado that they gave you OP? Could be a new thing?

Meh.....just a cheesy gadget for bragging purposes.

There ain't nothing more accurate than 'butt pucker' aka Ass Meter. You don't need no stinking gauge. If you need a gauge - you're doing it wrong. :)

But it does solve the issue of a 4WD display.

Looks like almost the same display and everything, it seems like it would be a pretty easy software issue to add the 4WD part... DANG YOU GM!

Yea, that screen came to the fullsize trucks in 2015.

My 2017 Colorado Z71 does not have it. Kinda wish it did.

That was my first thought. Come on Chevy! It would be such a simple fix! Sigh.........

So can't the accessories or aftermarket folks make an update that can be purchased to add this "card" to the deck? Only need the 2WD and 4WD icons.

That's funny. A 2WD Silverado has a display to tell you you are not in 4WD, but a 4WD Colorado does not have a display to tell you when you are in 4WD.

Sounds like GM, just like the cabin filter with no directions in the manual on how to even remove it. It the small things that get me.
