Installed a light bar this weekend. Ended up going in through the hood release grommet. I'll likely go get a new generic one since I *might* have done a bad job removing it at first.

Don't judge. I know I've got some wire cleanup to do.

What is this cap? Instead of drilling it appears you could just unscrew it and run wires through. Does it serve some other purpose?

Pretty sure that's the "keeper" that hold the sound deadening on the firewall. I think this it a cap I think theres a stud there and that thing screws on
