I would not doubt it. I have known a lot of people who had major work done and only one said it drove the same.

Wow, 10k? As everyone else has stressed, severely bent frame rails = not so good in my book. I wouldn't settle for that, and the repairs ARE going to be well over 10k... more will surface once they start the repairs.

from the estimate
labor $3069.45
parts $5660.36
additional costs $848.31
Total $9578.12

if it dosnt work out the only thing coming off the truck will be the rims

Does the motor look pushed back? I was kinda thinking so from the pics I took but not sure.

Yes it does. I ran some wire behind my engine along the firewall and my hand fit easily behind there. Your engine is pushed back and up.

By the way whos fault was it I ask because the cost to fix your truck and the cost to fix the car you hit would not make an insurance company very happy.

I am still glad that everyone is okay and in one peace after all that is the important thing. :(

"Does the motor look pushed back?"

Crawl underneath and look at the engine and transmission mounts.

One more tidbit. Are you aware you can download what your truck was doing during the last five seconds prior to impact. Speed, braking and air bag deployment can be retrieved. Not an issue if you are not at fault but the telemetry could be used against you if an insurance investigator gets the "black box". Here is info on what CDR's do.

I was NOT at fault. She had a stop sign and I didnt. She pulled out in front of me. I dont think I even had time to hit the brakes.
