168000 4 cylinder 2004 Colorado. Just traded it for a 2011 Jeep Wrangler Sport. I think it would have went another one hundred thousand going to miss the truck. We had it for 8 years never any trouble. Love this forum everyone is always helpful. Will check in from time to time. Thank you for the use of the forum.

If you click the "Garage" link and scroll to the bottom, you will see a whole section that has "Top Vehicle Mileage". Currently, it says that ecsurfer68 has 800,000 miles.

Making some numbers about "ecsurfer68" mileage, if this member has 800K miles on their truck, and considering the earliest model was 2004, then he has been dropin´100K per year, that makes 273 miles a day!

This truck is not only a daily driver, its a daily trip rig! but still posible.

Just ticked 192,000 on my 04 Z85 4x4 I5. Original motor (doesn't burn a drop of oil) & tranny. Have replaced brake pads, rotors, hubs, shocks, ball joints, upper control arms, thermostat, emission vapor parts... assorted smaller things here and there, nothing more than any other truck would need 10+ years into it.

229,000, chewing miles and spittin' em out...

05 I5, I'll hit 229,000 miles tonight (dec 5, 14). Bought it July 2013 with 147,000. I've modified the intake/ valve cover to elimate oil burn, and just replaced thermostat and exhuast cam actuator yesterday. Other than that, it's oil and filter changes every 7,000 miles with cheap synthetic from walmart. Regular maintenance. I've been getting a P0303 (cylinder #3 misfire) and P0014 (exhaust camshaft position timing over-advanced), hoping the cam actuator fixes those... instead of needing a new head. Oh, i also disabled my front passenger window cuz it falls off the tracks, and my front driver side window gets stuck during the summer... No other issues.

In what way did you modify the intake/valve cover? A catch can?

No catch can. plugged both ports on the valve cover (and where the lines go to on the intake) so there is ZILCH going into the intake, except air through the filter, and no unmetered air. cut a hole in the valve cover, 3 inch length of 2 inch pvc pipe w/ baffles, glued to the hole. capped that off with a pcv valve, and a breather on top of that. Replaced the resonator box with pvc. I'll try to remember to take a picture. It's some uglier-than-rosie-odonell-backyard-redneck-****

I honestly wouldn't recommend this. 1. its not legal, 2. Not sure what its doing for my a/f mixture, vacuum, etc., 3. although i lose much less oil, i can still see it bubble at the breather... but not spilling. 4. the fumes smell (i love it, my wife hates it) My main concern was keeping oil out of my intake, which it does just fine. I've been looking into catch cans to bring it back to legal (and replace my valve cover n resonator box), just havent found a design im completely happy with.

I'm at 173,457 miles:

Installed my second front air dam (Lower Valence)

Replaced the front passenger-side power window motor and regulator

Installed new driver's side window and door lock control switches

Replaced the fried A/C/Heater blower resistor

Finally pulled out all four speakers and replaced them with upgrade speakers

Had a crack develop in one of my Extreme rims and found a replacement on Ebay for $199.00.

Installed new dome light, replaced all four bulbs in the water-logged third brake light lens.

New Iridium plugs

Installed new coolant temperature sensor and stuck-open thermostat

Just a little over $900.00 to get everything back to normal. Not bad considering the mileage.

My 2006 had 606,892 miles on it when I was hit from behind by a sleeping driver.

Insurance company made mistake, that I told them about, and paid me 11,800 for it.

Laid $4000 on a 2012 Canyon in May 2012. Had 4 miles when I bought it.

It now has 244,309 miles as of today.
