Most likely the offorad package 4x4 then. You can tell too by looking at the fender flares, are they small and compact or larger and stick out. The larger flares are the offroad, the smaller ones are Z85. I have a Z85, use my flares as comparison.
And lastly to be 100% sure, open the glovebox door and locate the silver sticker affixed to the door. Find the code that says Z85 or Z71. Whichever is there is the model you have. Make sure to search the forums for all of your suspension questions. Every question you can think of has been asked and answered hundreds of times. :) No matter if you have the Z85 or Z71, you can use the same parts. |

4x4 no torsion bar? Dafuq? Take a second look. If there's NOT a coil surrounding the front shock, look under the truck for the torsion bar.

EDIT: ok so i did find the torsion bars. i wasnt sure if that was it the first time i look.i was going to crank them and level the front of the truck. should i get a front alignment immediately after or can i wait a day of driving. everyone says to do it but not if its a immediate thing or a day wait Last edited by new-colorado; 06-25-2012 at 07:30 PM. |

Depends how much you drive in that one day. If you drive half-way across the country, get it aligned right away. If you're driving to/from work, you can wait a day.
