Need opinions

Wanting wheels for 08Z71 Colorado 4x4. I'm wondering stay with a 15 wheel or go with say a 17. I'm not wanting to lift but want different wheels and dont want to rub

Wheel diameter doesn't matter.

It's all about offset and backspace. I think I answered that in one of your other recent threads about wheels?

With a larger diameter rim, the sidewall can be smaller for the same overall tire diameter.

There is a good site out there that describes backspace and how it varies. Search Google for "rimsntires" I think is what it's called. You can input various wheel info and it will show the results in comparison to another option.

From a visual standpoint, a 31" tire on a 15" rim will look fatter than a 31 incher on a 17" rim. Plus 15" rims are a little cheaper too.
