Truck Accessories, Auto Accessories, Best Prices Guaranteed!
Guys, do not order from these folks they are a JOKE!! First off, I order my hitch and wiring on july 30th, it was delivered August 7th. I go to hook up the wiring and can not find the plug to adapt into behind my rear bumper. When i called their customer service i told the guy the situation and that the plug was wrong his reply "no its not we check all of our products before we ship them" After looking at the paperwork i realized they sent the wiring kit for a silverado/tahoe, so i called back explained the mix up and i get "no the adapter for the silverado is the same as the colorado". ITS NOT!! The girl puts me on hold night before last for 7 minutes to "check on the problem" when conviently she picks up and says they are closing I'll have to call back to sort out my problem.. Well i gave it a rest for a day, another lady just called me back to inform me i was correct the whole **** time..with no apologies. and that the wiring kit they sent was for a vehicle with a FACTORY oem towing package..thats when i said "Really lady? i order a $180 TOWING HITCH for the same vehicle at the same time" is it that difficult to comprehend. Because i did order over the phone. So she informs me the correct one is $20 more and that it will take 4-5 business days for them to ship it then another 2-3 while in shipping. So its taking me 3 weeks for a wiring kit. Never once did they admit their fault. Just a crappy customer service center if you ask me.. I work at autozone on the weekends and could have ordered from the store but they were cheaper. Now that ive been charged $20 more and 3 weeks later I PROMISE I wont be doing business with them again.. Truck Accessories, Auto Accessories, Best Prices Guaranteed! |

You have a lot of anger here.
People make mistakes. You could have confused them in the way you ordered. They may have tried to interpret what you asked for. It could have been somebody new. While it's nice a place of business does apologize, but without knowing the entire story they are not actually obligated to apologize to you. There is a saying that I've heard many time that really is very true "The cheap comes out expensive". It's sometimes best to go with what you know, not to experiment if you are not willing to deal with small obstacles. It sounds to me that in the end it will be working out as it should. You're getting the parts you asked for. Who's fault is it that it costs more? Does the internet have your products listed for less than it will cost? I mean you had to know it was cheaper than you ordering it yourself for you to actually look into them for the order. Maybe you looked up the wrong part number, then verbally asked for that number over the phone? I live on the west coast, trust me when I say I know it's a struggle to have places close. They can't stay late to help you. 7 minutes may not be that long if they had to research. They could have used 2 minutes and told you it was right and let you go. I think they did right, if you ask me. I don't know man, I'm just throwing possibilities out that CAN happen. Last edited by 08Canyon; 08-09-2012 at 01:49 PM. |

Precisely why I dont shop "over the phone" and havent for perhaps a dozen years. Curious as to why you didnt do it online, their ordering seemed simple enough, also which one did you order that cost 180 dollars? Or did that include the adapter?
I would not have been happy to have to wait a week for delivery either, however, mine only took 2 days and that was ordering from 2 different companies, receiver and switch from one and the ball and tongue from another... funny though how we get annoyed when we shop for "cheap" and get less than what we think we should... hope it all works out so you can enjoy your truck again..

All im trying to say is their customer service is rude and by far the worst to deal with. |
