Oh all types. Cutlasses, Nova's, Impala's, even Chry. 300's.
Case in point... this one came in today for an alignment. Friggin ball joints practically ripped out of the control arms and every tie rod end gone not to mention all the other stuff wrong. But it did have new end links and shocks! Hahaha. Guy had a new monster sub box in the back seat with the amp still in the box sitting in the front seat. I guess we know what really matters huh? Snapped a pic just for ya'll. Will be deleted from phone as soon as I post this. What a joke and a total waste of money.
Needless to say he couldn't afford to fix the front end to align it. I wonder if he's blown out a tire since then, hahaha.

And this thread is still going... impressive.

And it still gives me the lols... more impressive.

I will give it to you though, Mr. OP. You sure have some hard-lined opinions about what you feel looks like ****.

well this thread changed its topic. Back to point my truck is all blacked out including my badges, wheels and bumpers. I am far from being embarrassed to be driving a chevy. Ive always driven a gm and nothing else. For the reason of blacking out the badges in my personal opinion if everything on my truck is all black and the bowtie is the ugly stock gold I think that would look cheasy as ****. and don't want any other color. Point is its customizing... to each their own. Thanks

To each their own is sure right. My original question was about this trend of doing this???????? WTF? But I do agree, if everything else is black then the emblem has to be black or it would be an eyesore. I just don't understand this trend of doing this. Just like the jacked up POS's I brought up in this thread. I don't see a solid black truck as anything special or "custom" so why is it such a big thing?

Different courses for different horses...for me, black is not only my favorite color but also it does make anything look that little bit more 'bad-ass' in my opinion.

If a little is good, more must be better LOL

painting a logo isnt gonna "hide" what the truck is. paint the bowtie to match the body color of the truck? guess what dumbass, it still looks like a Colorado to me...

so yea, I agree with the stupidity of this thread.

I know another reason people black out or change the color of there emblems is because they fade out. Fords emblems, for example the black lettering in there emblems would fade out and one way to fix that was just paint or plasti dip the whole emblem. Better look then a faded emblem and cheaper then buying a new one. My parents hhr the gold in the emblem is starting to fade and one way to fix that is to paint it to make it look better and gives the car a lil personalization.

Do you have the same opinion for the blacked out emblems that are optional or part of a special edition package from the factory like the midnight edition?

The member 10 Colorado Ext. 4x4 hasn't been on this forum since Jan of 2014. So I seriously doubt you will get a response from him.
