What do you use for washer fluid?

Personally I am partial to the rainx brand and tend to use this bug remover formula regularly.

Additionally when I don't use the rainx fluid I add this stuff to the mix

Either way, water beads right up and slides right off. Hardly even have to use the wipers.

Anyone else have any brand they prefer? Always open to suggestions.

I've been using GM Optikleen exclusively since 1986. Never once a problem.

I use the exact same stuff.
Even during the harsh summer downpours, I don't need to use the wipers. It also makes the B52 sized bug splats easily removed.

I apply Rain-X treatment to my windshield, and use cheap blue washer fluid. Recently, I did pick up a case of the Rain-X washer fluid on sale. I use the fluid so rarely, that I have not had a chance to put the Rain-X fluid in yet. I got through winter using less than a gallon of fluid. I try to keep my distance from cars ahead, and being high off the road helps a bit too I think.

Did I dream this or read some where that if the Rain-X gets inside any on the windows and you have window tint it will mess up the tint?

Maybe the dream was from the words on the bottle?

I know the glass treatment (used to) says that in the warnings - who knows if it's also written as a warning on the windshield washer bottles.

LOL

I have a vague memory that there was a TSB or something about Rain-X fluid gumming up the pintels or something.

In the summer I go through a tank every other week, so it's a few drops of Dawn dishwashing liquid, works great on nighttime bugs.
