She'll come around... You're still on your honeymoon. Give it 6 months - LOL - she'll start to poke her head into the picture.

Ladies!!?? How are we doing??? Needed to bump this thread to get some conversation going!!

It's been about a year and I'm really enjoying the truck. I'm just starting to have ideas....just ideas mind you. I'm fighting with myself - things I can afford but don't need and saving $ for other things in life. GAHHHH!!! LOL

This forum has really grown / exploded in the last year. I love it!! I blame all of you for making me have these 'spend money' thoughts. LOL.

Back to 'Lady' type topics..... I bought a stationary bike yesterday - should arrive on January 25th. You know the deal..... Actually, I have a recumbent bike that's 14 years old - used lightly. It's old and I want something more 'spin' friendly. The need for physical activity is......strong. The motivation is not strong. LOL. Not looking to lose weight, just prevent more from piling on - as I age. That, and my cholesterol is happy when I'm more physically active. Same old same old every January...LOL

How is everyone doing these days? Did we get any new ladies lately?

My wife likes my truck better than her MDX, so I might have to bow out from this handle.

Nope. It's been 7 months. She will drive everything else, just not the Colorado. No difference to me. We have more horses in the corral than drivers. Not like she is stuck because of not driving it.

Another Lady here!!
From Northern Ontario, Canada and I've had my Colorado Z71 about 20mths now and love it as much as the first day I got it!!
Put winter tires on it this winter and feels amazing out in the snow.
Looking at getting a new wheel/tire set for this summer. Doing some window shopping right now, seeing how big I can go without having to lift my truck. Might get a levelling kit but depends how much the garages charge me!!

Howdy from the Thumb of the Mitten State!

Picked up a '17 Z71 Colorado a couple weeks ago and am head over heels in love with this truck. I've had a few in the past, but none that make my socks go up and down like this baby! Heck, I've never customized a vehicle before except to throw a tonneau on one of those trucks. Also in our truck fleet is a 1994 Z71 with 60,000ish original miles. We are the third owners, and it has been in my family since new.

So far done to mine (that didn't come factory installed): fender flares, bull bar, tonneau, bed extender, Line-X on the rockers, bull bar and nerf bars, and picking up a set of take off wheels this week... they are off a Canyon. I'm going to PlastiDip them black and have the better half make me some custom center caps. I'll have a set of snow tires mounted on one set of wheels or the other, guess it depends on how nice the wheels look after playing with them.

~Karen

PS I work in the shop and am not easily offended. lol In fact, I'm usually the one offending.
