Black Bowtie Emblem

Does anyone know if there is a black bowtie grill emblem that can swapped out for the gold one?

I would like to put a black bowtie on the tailgate also.

GM part number 23219389, $155 option from the dealer or cheaper on Amazon/Ebay. Also, for a cheaper solution, search for plastidip bowtie. There's lots of posts on it. I personally opted for the dealer mod.

Yes, they are pretty simple to find with a Google search. Check eBay. The front is simple to switch out. The rear is more difficult. Use fishing line to breakthrough the adhesive and get 3m adhesive remover to remove the adhesive left behind.

I got the OEM black bowties from a part warehouse on Ebay. $80ish, I think is what I paid. Very happy with them. I think they look awesome on my white Z71. Now if they just made black factory center caps I'd be all set. I've seen the black/silver caps from the Midnight edition Colorado, but I don't know how the gloss black would look on the Z71 wheels.

I guess I should have mentioned< this would be for my 2006 Colorado. I would assume that the 2016 emblem won't fit a 2006. But I think I found what I needed from Summit Racing.

The grille emblem: Search Results for 96042k - Free Shipping on Orders Over $99 at Summit Racing

And then the tailgate, I know the 1st gen. Colorado doesn't have them, but I like seeing the look of the bowtie on the tailgate. So I got this one: Search Results for 96091kc - Free Shipping on Orders Over $99 at Summit Racing

I will post pics when I get them and get them on the truck.

I used to use plastidip alot i only use vinyl wrap and paint now more professional and cleaner finish plastidip is the easy way out plus its just one more thing you have to avoid with wax compound and polish small stuff isnt so bad but if your rims ever start to peel a tire change can cause it then it can be a pain to remove and redo just my 2 cents

3M Carbon Fiber Vinyl tape from O'Reilly's, 6" wide roll I think 60" long, very easy to use following instructions on package, was easier than plastidip with lots left over for other wraps. Has help up to power wash and hot sun seems to make it stick well.

You did the front emblem too correct? I ask because I would be curious if it's held up to hitting bugs, etc. If so, I would be very tempted. I tried it with my wheels and it's held up great so far after about 6 months.

I did my front emblem with plastidip in December and it still looks new (after cleaning the bugs off).
