Default Pcm replacement

Where is the pcm mounted in our trucks?Is it something i could replace myself if i bought it?Anybody have a diagram of the location and what is needed to take off and put new one on?

From what i was told at the dealer this is one of the 2 things wrong with my 4wd right now.getting one tuned would be great too.Pcm isnt covered under my warranty apparently

8yr 80000miles on warranty on pcm i believe.

im at 95000 so im still screwed there. This has been me with my **** blood pressure dealing with these people all week tryin to get my 4wd fixed because im stuck in 4hi

Well to ansewer you question the pcm is on the passenger side of the firewall by the washer fluid bottle. It has 3 plugs going to it.

I just replaced mine (09) for a tune. Very simple, 10 minutes.
