Whipple Twinscrew Supercharger kit for 3.5L / 3.7L

Any interest in a 1.6L Whipple Twinscrew kit for the 3.5L / 3.7L? I'm assuming the 3.5L and 3.7L share the same intake, correct?

I'm thinking of starting to map out and design an intake setup for one. It'd be nice to have some more power from the 3.5L ;)

Keep in mind doing this will take away from engine life. Might just be better off doing a v8 conversion

2012 3LT Stock.

How will this take off from engine life? 8psi from a 1.6L Whipple won't impact engine wear appreciably. 16-18psi might, though!

If I remember, these atlas motors have a 10:1 compression...8 psi might take a bit off of engine life because of the high compression...but in all honesty the engine will probably till outlast the rest of the truck so go for it lol.

keep me posted on your progress. if you get a kit running for less than the other kits that are availble (which is around 5 grand US) producing 8psi that would be sweet! I`ll be all over it.

Re: Whipple Twinscrew Supercharger kit for 3.5L / 3.7L

$5000? Seriously?

Here's a little backdrop - I've got an Ion Redline as well, which comes equipped with an M62 Heaton on there.

I'm designing a kit based around the W100AX, which is not yet in production. Whipple won't put it into production until I have an order for 50 units. Right now, pricing is going to be about $1550/ea for the blower itself. I'm working on an Ecotec system around the W100AX, an RSX system, an S2000 system, and a Colorado system.

The goal is to get 50 units between everyone (or more, obviously) to get the W100AX into production.

Here's a little sample of what I've done thus far (adapter plate to bolt the W100AX to the LSJ intake manifold):

Odds are very good for the 3.5 / 3.7 (do they have the same intake bolt pattern or no?) I'd have to cast up a manifold for it. Anyone have any exploded views of the intake system of the 3.5L?

I could do the entire system, supercharger, intake, everything for WELL under $5000.

What would be included in the system, parts wise? Oh and don't phrase the directions like they were translated from chinese to english!
