X2. Get some low profile housings, tint them dark, with amber LED's that will burn bright?

Thanks Naskie - my bad

I got the lights from Pep Boys for $35.00 in 2006(still work great). I have an '83 BMW that needs endless work, so I asked my guy who works on that car to install it and he did it out of good will... So, not too sure what it would cost to do this. I presume it was a pretty easy install, aside from the pain of drilling into the cab

I would love to see the tinted cab markers! That'd look great!

P.S. Just remember to make sure that the seal is perfect for these lights, condensation is not our friend...

Re: Cab Roof Marker Lights on a Canyon/Colorado?

Just bought these, they are only 5" long 3" wide at the largest point, and 1 1/2 inches tall. Should be good on our truck..not to much, but noticeable.

I'll post pictures when I get them..

Finally, it stopped snowing over here for one day. Still don't have them mounted and wired up, going to wait until we have more reliable weather to do that task, but you get the idea..Not too much, but def makes is different than any other Colorado Z71..Can't wait to wire it up..

Let me know what you think..

I like it alot. Not too big, and the tint blends with the black really well. Good looking truck man!

Re: Cab Roof Marker Lights on a Canyon/Colorado?

Thanks! It kinda turned out perfect..better than I expected. I didn't want it to look like I was trying to look too big like I wanted to look like those big 2500, or 250 size trucks..I'll post more pics when I get it all wire up..13 lights in the front..will be nice..

How well does the contour of the lights match the contour of the roof?

I was thinking about putting marker lights similar to the ford raptor in the grill. like these in the link attached and wire the amber lights to the illumated bowtie emblem.
