What size tire on 20" rim with stock suspension??

I have a base model 2wd, all stock suspension. I also have 1" lift spacers for the front if needed. But, what size tire could i run? I'm looking at the 265/45/20 and hoping that will work, but if i need to go any more low profile, the price starts to double. Anyone else have a similar set up and any info they can help me out with?
Thank you in advance

to C'Fans.

I'm not a tire Guru, but i think the fitment will depend more on the wheel backspace than the tire that you have chosen. That tire is not excessively tall or wide. I would suggest checking in with the 1st generation guys over at 355nation.net for some expert opinions.

The biggest tire that will fit the wheel well with no lift is the 265/65/17. If you put that into the wheel size calculator Rim & Tire Size Calculator. Custom Offsets - Wheel-Size.com you can compare your tire to see the difference in size.
The other thing to consider is the offset and width of the new wheel you are using. To avoid issues find a 20" custom wheel with the same width and offset as the stock wheel. I believe the Z71 17" stock wheel is 8" wide with a 33 offset.
