Finch, do you have this hood? If so you were able to use the other intake then the ones recommended? How do you like it other than it being fiberglass?

Thanks
yo scottyd, i got the good hood, dual ram air. it is functional and the k&n works darn well with it. other than the fiberglass being crap, and it cracking and not fitting before the shop charged me 900 dollars (ya it was the cheapest est after everyone looked at the hood) to fix and paint it, i love it. it looks good, but 760 for hood, plus 900 for paint. too much. go with a cowl induction. u gotta go steel. they are worth it. this hood is not worth the look.[/quote:2evhbawr]

About the weatherstripping from the stocker to the cowl hood, I picked up some new tabs at autozone (generic ones that fit right) and reinstalled the weatherstripping. One of the holes is off by a couple inches in the hood, all I did was poke another small hole in the stripping where the relocated hole in the cowl hood is and put it back on. No big deal at all.

It's still my favorite as far as styling!! It gives my truck a real beefy look. I also really like the 2" cowl hood.

Well in my opinion I think Photobucket is easier, you go to photobucket.com register if you are not in,you give in your information, your screen name, and password, and all this other crap, and from there it should be easy.It says to browse and upload pics, click on browse and search for your photo,it's easy.

has any one seen the coly with the Reflexxion Cowl Induction w/ Cobra Ports (Steel) hood? the man put alot of time into that truck and the hood is incredible looking. if you can find a bigger pic you will see how nice it looks, i saw the truck at columbus ohio, at the goodguys national hotrod show and could of picked up the hood for $300 bucks. i'm snipping myself in the ass now for not buying it.
if your looking into a hood, you might want to look into it... and its steel..

No they haven't made a functional ram-air made out of steel yet...well with my hood I noticed alittle kick in colder weather (All cars kick more in cold whether but, more than usual)...and I have an aftermarket intake.

is it hooked up to the ram air directly or is it just luck that the ram air happens to dispense the air at the filter?
